With many bunkers on the property it is important to recognize what is proper bunker etiquette. Although the turf staff works extremely hard to prep the bunkers for play in the morning, it is very important that members and guests do their part throughout the day to ensure that bunkers remain fair, playable and visually aesthetic for players to follow.
Not only is it imperative to enter the bunker from the low side, rake your footprints smoothly, and place your rake on the outside of the bunker, it is also essential to tap the sand out from the bottom of your golf shoes so you don’t track sand onto a fairway or especially a green.
